Posted - 08/06/2006 : 9:52:01 PM WELL...it's apparent you weren't at nationals; you would have SEEN how developed my kicks have become :) I'll send you the footage. I think you will be somewhat impressed. My Muay Thai is actually starting to pay off. And yes, I TRAIN with shin gaurds...anyone who doesn't is asking for trouble, even though I have my shins pretty well conditioned right now (for an american fighter anyways). And no, there was NO sign of MICCS there either. |

Posted - 08/06/2006 : 4:15:27 PM i thought the level 4 MMA gloves were 7 oz? u wear shin guards you wuss? whats that about? you don't kick that hard yet!! j/k bro. hope you make it to our event. |

Posted - 08/04/2006 : 09:01:42 AM I absolutely love the primetime mma gloves that they use for competition. They can also substitute for bag gloves. Yes, they are a bit thicker, but they are still ONLY 4 ounces. They give great protection to the hand, but still allowes a vicious impact. On the JJ side, there is pretty good movement of the fingers (a lot of variables...ie. hand wrapping). Their new shin gaurds are freaking awesome too. Just MHO. |

Posted - 08/03/2006 : 06:57:52 AM all the VA schools use primetime gloves for the fights. they are a bit thicker than any other pair i have seen. |

Posted - 07/31/2006 : 10:29:03 AM It's pretty good equipment and they have probably just about everything you need. Also, you can try www.primetimefighter.com I've never used PrimeTime myself but Legends of Fighting uses them. |

Posted - 07/31/2006 : 06:49:42 AM We have a 10,000 plus sq ft building. We start remodeling the inside today. i'd like to order the equipment sometime soon. we are going to have a 5,000sq ft area of just mats to grapple and wrestle on.
Raptor: i'll look them up. how good is the equipment? we need to get pretty much everything from sparring gear to bags, mats, mirrors, etc. |

You're probably not the only one that has gone through this ordeal. So they might be dealing with a lot of lawsuits.

Nate, if i am not mistaken, they are usually at the WKA events in Richmond when Brian puts on his shows. Maybe then would be a good time to contact him...I be they will be at nationals. |

Posted - 06/21/2006 : 06:43:27 AM well Justin is making a return to fighting in July. i wanted to give them a heads up. Also, i have a new gym opening and its over 10,000 sq ft. i need to get all the training stuff and gear for there as well. its going to be a huge purchase and i didn't want to have to go to Ringside and other places. Micc's is a one stop shopping place. makes it more convenient, plus he's always been helpful with my fighters.
if i can't get ahold of them by next week guess i'll have to go somewhere else to buy stuff. |

Posted - 06/20/2006 : 11:36:34 PM Since you asked NO! Like they asked on the other thread I made. i called and called and called and left messages with my number. They NEVER called back. I called and left messages, I sent emails telling them I needed to know what was going on with my sponsorship. They said they were going to honor it with my last fight and going forward.
After several phone calls and emails, I got an email from Mike asking what i wanted. lol, wtf? so I emailed him back saying I wanted to know how the sponsorship was going to be handled. I haven't heard back since.
They still haven't made good on the sponsorship with the last fight. They don't want to return calls, emails, re. how it will be dealt with going forward.
I heard a lot of shit about them on the internet before hooking up with them after they approached me. I should have listened and learn from other peoples problems.
I finally said fvk 'em. And anyone that ever asks about them will get an ear full from me. |
