Just wondering what fighters are sponsored and by who?? Also how did you go about getting sponsored?

I'm sponsored by CutThroat right now. as well as my strength trainer and protein factory.
However, getting ready to go pro I'll need to see how those will change. And hopefully add more.

How to go about it? you have to sell yourself to the sponsor. What are they going to get out of it? If you want to IM or email me I would share more detail with you.

From what I heard from James D and Justin C, Micc's Martial Arts is a good place to start too...Try giving them a call.

LOL. Dude, I hope you are joking. Justin and I were SUPPOSE to be sponsored by Micc's. but they didn't keep their word (and they were the one's that contacted me). I don't even think their site works anymore. And they have not returned my calls or emails. I would advise anyone not to go through Micc's, or buy from them for that matter. They don't have a great reputation. I've seen many people get burned by them. I should have heeded the warnings, but I didn't.

ROFL...too funny Phil. Yes, I am sponsered; BUT as an ameture you really have to be careful. You can not accept cash, however fight gear/wear, supplements, etc is ok.

Yes, I am pretty sure they can...For example, If I sponsered you Scott and sent you a bus ticket to fight in Va, I believe that is perfectly legit.

Obtaining a sponsorship as an amateur is pretty easy. You just have to show that you are organized and worth it. Make them know they will get something from it too.

Getting sponsored for $ as a pro is a whole other story though.
