so we can't invite people to come train with us or ask about upcoming seminars/clinics on this site?

Sure you can. Remember that we have an IM feature where you can do what you want. From a business perspective, I think this is wise for us to do.

For example: Say I have a show on July 1st and you have a show the week before that. It's just not smart to allow you to pull fighters from our fighter pool for your show. May not be the answer you wanted, but I am just trying to be honest.

You know all you have to do is ask me anyway and I would help you (or almost anyone) find a fighter or two if they needed it.

As for your gym, it is not local, so I don't mind that as bad.

oh i know. i have a lot of respect for everyone on the ECF staff. and when i posted things on this forum i don't mean any disrespect. i'm sure that a lot of fighters that have fought for you are going to go pro soon. If ECF doesn't have pro fights in the future, i was just trying to get them on our card since i know they have had a good relationship with you. over the past few yrs i have weeded out promoters i even talk to. ECF staff has treated all of my guys great and i truly appreciate it. if i wasn't still in the military more of my guys would be up there fighting, but just like other schools, most of my fighters have a hard time making ends meet already. i end up being the ride there and i can't leave as much as i used to be able to because i was promoted.

as far as your answer, i respect it. maybe you could even host a calender on your site. charge companies to post upcoming events, but its at your discretion. if the fight is close to your date, don't put it on the calender. this way people could advertise seminars, grappling tournaments, etc. just an idea. you know me Gary, i'm always thinking of new things to make the sport better.

This was intended at no one in particular. Lots of people used it.

BTW, I don't mind people advertising seminars or grappling tournaments.

We've always worked well together, so I wanted to make sure you understood this wasn't directed at you (or anyone else). I've actually been thinking of this for about 6 months.

I am going to move this to the other forum so people can find it.

I will check on the post count for you.

haha ok. i didn't take it personal. i know its business and i can def understand that. you have worked hard to get a good reputation for your business and i think its great how far ECF has come in the past 2 yrs. i just wanted to make sure i didn't step over the line.
